- Click the green download button to download Firefox.
- Note: If you want to have a choice of the language for your Firefox installation, select the 'Download in another language' link under the download button instead.
- Once the download has completed, the file (Firefox.dmg) should open by itself and pop open a Finder window containing the Firefox application. Drag the Firefox Icon on top of the Applications folder in order to copy it there.
- Note: If you do not see this window, click the Firefox.dmg file that you downloaded to open it.
- After dragging Firefox to the Applications folder, hold down the control key while clicking in the window and select Eject 'Firefox' from the menu.
- You can add Firefox to your dock for easy access. Just open your Applications folder and drag Firefox to the dock.
- Firefox is now ready for use. Just click on its icon in the dock to start it.
When you first start up Firefox, you will be warned that you downloaded Firefox from the Internet. Because you download Firefox from the official site, you can click .
Also, Firefox will not be your default browser and you'll be told about that. That means that when you open a link in your mail application, an Internet shortcut, or HTML document, it will not open in Firefox. If you want Firefox to do those things, click to set it as your default browser. If not or you are just trying out Firefox, click .

A perfect design.
This was a lookin’ nice beautiful design and it’s better than Chrome, but when I opened Firefox, it shows the black screen, but I tried to reinstall it and it works. It’s a nice beautiful design for the browser that kills Chrome and looks more beautiful, the logo is beautiful, also inappropriate and killer websites are actually private? Well, the Chrome is less beautiful, the Firefox is more beautiful. I think Chrome is less fast, so Firefox is faster. Also internet explorer was the slow. Also I think Microsoft edge is, because on my slow computer, I opened it and it’s very slow. But I download Firefox in my slow computer and it’s fast for me. I use Firefox more. Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Microsoft Edge was slower for me. So I use them less. Slow computers and fast computers make Firefox fast.
I use Firefox more, looks a beautiful design. More powerful. Firefox the only one I use.

Adore it
I love this app. I have not registered yet, but I might, because I love it so much. It works beautifully and has all the features that I need. If I registered, I would have even more features, but so far I really haven’t had the need to register. It’s easy to navigate and use. What more can I say? I adore it! Another app that I use and love is Safari. Yes, Safari. I love it because of the PDF feature. With Safari it’s easy to read the articles, or whatever, I’m trying to read, because my vision is not so good at my age. I love Chrome as well because I can sync it with my PC. However, it doesn’t do PDF and every time I need to save something I have to copy and paste the link to either Safari or Firefox. All three browsers are great. And I use them pretty much equally. But I just had to give a review on Firefox because I love it sooo much!!
Very buggy, after many releases still no fixes.
As much as I love the team at Mozilla, their testing team just isn’t doing good. In terms of mobile devices they do not address issues even after many releases.
Many times the entire app will be unresponsive to any gestures, making you force quit the application and restarting it. Sometimes you also have to close the tab even after a restart. Second, is their copy and paste... you must hold longer than apples normal settings to even copy a link. Normally you could click once on the address bar to select the entire thing but Mozilla thinks we want to edit the middle of our link when we click on it. Another is pop up light boxes are very buggy and become unresponsive. As you’re adding new features please also keep in mind to fix your bugs. I am no longer using this browser after 3 months of skeptical transition to a new browser but it seems I’ll be heading back to chrome for now. Sorry Team @ Mozilla.
